Questions
What happens when my licence lapses?
The app drops to viewer mode. You can still open and view every model and its results, and read the manual. Running models, saving, and report and DXF export pause until you renew or enter a new key. Nothing is deleted and your .inp files remain plain EPA format, usable in any SWMM tool.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The licence key is checked on your computer against a digital signature, so no connection is needed to run. When a paid key is within 30 days of its end date and the computer is online, the app quietly fetches the renewed key; if it cannot, nothing is interrupted. Paid keys carry a 14-day grace period past each billing date.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If AquaSWMM is not right for you, ask within 30 days of your first payment and you get the full amount back. See the refund policy.
Do you offer education licences?
Yes, free for one year for students and faculty, for non-commercial teaching and research. Email us from your institution address through the support page and we will send a key.
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. Email us with the plan, the number of seats and your billing details, and we will send an invoice you can pay online.
What is a seat?
One named person using AquaSWMM. The key belongs to the person, not to a particular computer. A Firm plan covers up to five named people in one office, and extra seats can be added at $199 a year each.
Can I switch between monthly and annual, or add seats later?
Open your account and choose Manage billing, or email us and we will make the change for you.
Why is the engine free if the app is paid?
The SWMM solver is EPA's and belongs to the public. AquaSWMM's own engine code is GPL-3.0 open source. The subscription pays for the desktop app, its continued development and support.
